Kootenay Home Sales Tie 12-Year Old October Record

According to the Kootenay Real Estate Board: “2017 has been one of the best years ever for home sales in the region, With market conditions favoring sellers and overall supply levels at their lowest in a decade, prices are on track for a gain of around 9% this year.”

The brisk market here in the Kootenays continues to put upward pressure on pricing as we head into the Winter of 2017. Not all communities in the Kootenays are behaving in the same fashion though, so keep in mind that hyper-local conditions within the various areas and communities may vary.
